About
Rob Foster
Endurance coach. A professional approach, driven by interaction.

Where it started
Running is in the family
My passion is kind of a given. My dad was based in Iten, Kenya, and handed the athletics team over to the now godfather of Kenyan running, Bro. Colm O'Connor. My uncle is Brendan Foster.
I'm a passionate, inquisitive coach who's been active from childhood. I grew up in far-flung corners of the world, then studied Applied Sports Science at the University of Edinburgh. It was the application of the science that hooked me, so I started coaching runners, cyclists and triathletes.

Now
Back home in Newcastle
I've run gyms, built the endurance side of a CrossFit box and spent years in Dubai coaching with InnerFight Endurance. Now I'm back in Newcastle, coaching athletes in person across the North East and online around the world. I also run a monthly meet-up for North East coaches.
I still race, triathlon and cycling, so I know what it takes to fit training around work and a young family. Being an online coach means a lot more than paces on a screen: I want the whole picture.
