Coaching

Bespoke coaching for runners, cyclists and triathletes

There's no one-size-fits-all plan. You get to the right programme through open conversations that move past the obvious questions.

How it works

From first call to race day

  1. The call

We talk through your goal, your week and your history. What's worked, what hasn't, and what's getting in the way.

  2. Benchmarks

We set honest starting points, so we both know where you are and can measure where you're going.

  3. Weekly plan

Sessions land in TrainingPeaks and sync to your watch or bike computer. Strength, conditioning and run form are built in.

  4. Adapt every week

Your feedback and data shape the next block. Life happens; the plan moves with it.

  5. Race plan

A personalised race plan built on goals we've already tested in training. Then you go and execute it.

One of the first things he asked me was not what time I wanted to run my next marathon, but how I wanted to feel when I finished it. That simple question changed the way I think about training, racing and what I’m ultimately trying to get from running. Most importantly, he has made me love running again.

Controlled by applied science

The right stress at the right time

I use current science and proven training methods to apply the right stress, in a controlled way. Benchmarks keep us both accountable and honest.

Not all tech is overkill. TrainingPeaks lets us both plan, feed back and track progress across every block. It links with MyFitnessPal, Whoop and most health trackers.

What you get

Everything beyond the session

Weekly plans

Individual sessions built for you, plus strength and conditioning and benchmark testing. In the North East we can also work 1:1, analyse your run form in person and train together in group sessions.

Communication

I don't believe in limited communication. Open door: feedback on TrainingPeaks, WhatsApp, monthly Zoom calls and a phone call when it matters.

Everything else

Nutrition advice, training tips and one of the most powerful tools in endurance: the community.
